Cumnor House Pupils Celebrate National Success in Sport and Art

Pupils from Cumnor House Girls School have achieved outstanding national success in both athletics and art, demonstrating their talent, determination and creativity.

MAKING HISTORY AT THE ISA NATIONAL ATHLETICS FINALS

Four Year 3 and 4 pupils made school history by winning the U9 4 × 100m relay at the ISA National Athletics Finals.

Competing against talented young athletes from schools across the country, the team secured first place following months of dedicated training and preparation. Their impressive performance showcased not only their speed and ability, but also the teamwork, resilience and focus needed to succeed on the national stage.

The result represents a remarkable achievement for the pupils and a proud moment in the school’s sporting history.

NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR ARTISTIC TALENT

The school also celebrated creative success after a Year 5 pupil won first place nationally in the ISA Art Competition.

Her vibrant Olympic-themed sports logo impressed the judges and demonstrated imagination, artistic skill and originality. The achievement highlights how pupils are encouraged to explore their creativity and take pride in expressing their individual ideas.

Together, these successes reflect the breadth of opportunities available at Cumnor House, where pupils are supported to aim high and fulfil their academic, sporting and creative potential.

Congratulations to all the pupils involved in these exceptional national achievements.
